The Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park is a Torbert favorite at Halloween. This year was the first for the electric-powered John Deere "Gators" which Samuel loved to drive. Samuel liked bowling with pumpkins as the balls and ears of corn as the pins. The Pumpkin Express was fun as every year with a corny scarecrow show at the stop on the other side of the mountain. Samuel met a banjo player who was quite a character, too.
