First Samuel's bike blew a tire the night before the Northumberland Swim Club July 4th bike parade, and last the fireworks were rained out, but a good time was had at the pool with a surprise visit from the fire department and a substitute old scooter

Edgar celebrated his birthday by riding on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway along the Toccoa River from Blue Ridge, GA to the twin towns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN. The blue line on the street marks the state border. Julia and Samuel are pointing at Julia's home state in one the photos below. The area was home to the Cherokee Indian Nation, and remnants of their fish traps are seen in two river photos below.

TROPHY!!!
Everybody got one, but that did not diminish the excitement as the Northumberland Swim Club Stingrays celebrated the end of the 2006 season. Samuel improved his times greatly during the season, and can look forward to being a six-year old in the six-and-unders next summer.
